What is the best suspension setup for the E30 chassis? The UUC GrpN E30 Suspension Package
This kit was modeled after BMW Motorsport's spring set for Group N racing in Europe.
The setup is ideal for both E30's with a dedicated race build, and E30's with a more aggressive street setup. Originally built for a race car weighing in around 2750-2900 lbs and using track-only tires, we have tuned the kit to perform both on and off track.
After being approached by our customers and fellow racers to develop the kit for the market, we developed a fully tunable package, including optional spring rubbers to further fine tune the balance of your car. This allows you to remove or add spring rubbers in a pit stop to adjust for changing weather, track temps, or less than ideal grip conditions. We reduced the inherent understeer in the setup and made it more neutral. After extensive testing and tuning from eminent and knowledgeable IMSA drivers Mark Pombo and Derek Jones, we are now ready to hand this kit over to you.
Four shocks and springs finely tested and tuned that will make your street car handle brilliantly and your race car win. Add a set of UUC adjustable SwayBarbarians and you will be overtaking cars around the outside of corners. Yeah. It's that good.
These lower a stock E30 M3 by 1.5" and 1.25" (Front/Rear).
