H&R
Cup Kit Suspension
To
work at its best, a suspension system has to have its shock
absorbers precisely matched to its springs. In addition, the
shocks must be the best available, custom designed from the
ground up and carefully tuned by race-proven experts. H&R
has numerous patents on their engineered shock technology that
are exclusive to H&R. While some companies are just realizing
the importance of matched performance shocks, H&R has been
including tuned shocks with their springs from the very beginning.
This is where H&R suspension kits come into the picture.
These complete units use the latest in dynamic shock technology
and they are hand-made in Germany to meet rigid ISO9001 quality
specs.
In
their endless quest to ensure the ultimate driving performance,
H&R introduces their new Cup Kit suspensions. Every kit
is a specifically matched custom valved, shortened shock
and spring set, distinctively designed to provide aggressive
performance and sleek-styling in one, ready-to-go package.
Achieved with a specially developed progressive spring tuned
explicitly for your car, and then matched to custom valved
performance sport shocks, these Cup Kit applications will
lower the ride height 2 inches while providing a decidedly
more dynamic performance.
H&R
offers two types of cup kits, the Sport Cup Kit and the New Touring Cup
Kit. The Sport Cup Kit features lowering of more than 2.0 inches, and
are the ideal solution for those that want a street-engineered
performance suspension with super-low looks. The Touring Cup Kit line
for enthusiasts that want less lowering while retaining the same high
level of performance offered by the Sport Cup Kit. On average the
Touring Cup Kits lower the vehicle ride height about 1.5 inches.
H&R Coil Over Suspension
There
is no substitute for the experience and knowledge that is gained
through racing. In fact, racing improves the breed. H&R Threaded
Body Coil Over Suspension Systems come directly from engineers who
design and develop racing suspensions. Threaded
body means that the outside of the strut or shock tubes are threaded
like a bolt. This allows the threaded spring perch to be moved up or
down to fine tune the ride-height, optimizing looks and handling. Blue
printed as Coil Overs (not just a modified shock body), the H&R
units are hand-made in Germany by H&R Spezialfedern, under ISO 9001
Quality Assurance Standards. Strict attention to the function of the
complete suspension system is the number one design priority. H&R
Coil Overs have performance driving characteristics without harshness
and can be used for weekend autocross and Club Sport events at your
local road course.
H&R EXCLUSIVE
H&R prides itself on its numerous 'firsts' and innovations that
have revolutionized the suspension industry. One of H&R's ingenious
creations is its exclusive, patented rear height adjusters.
Used for height adjustment in vehicles that have a seperate rear spring
/ shock setup, the H&R exclusive Rear Height Adjusters in effect
replace the lower rear spring perch with an easily height adjustable
spring seat design. Using a hex key, a simple twist of the wrist is all
that is needed to raise or lower the rear of the car.
