Fastastic Short Shifter

Man, what can I say? There are so many good things to say about this short shifter that I'm afraid of sounding like I'm a salesman for UUC!
First off, I've got a 2005 545 (E60). I never liked the OEM shifter because the throws are so LOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGGG. I thought I'd try the UUC. It was the most expensive, but I had heard good things about UUC's prior generation shifters for the E39.
I installed the EVO3 about 1 1/2 years ago.
I gotta say that I have been so impressed. To the point that I don't understand why BMW doesn't incorporate something like this to begin with.
The throws are shorter, but not race-car tight. Overall, the car is just plain more driveable. I don't feel like I'm rowing a boat like I did with the OEM. I wish I'd done this upgrade sooner.
This shifter rocks!
