"Performance tune" your braking system.
Stainless steel brake lines for improved braking performance 100% MADE IN USA and DOT-COMPLIANT
6-line kit fits these applications: E90/E92/E93 (2007-2011+) 335Xi, 330Xi, 328Xi, 325Xi, models (all AWD models ONLY.)
Original brake lines are rubber and can expand under the normal pressure of use. This expansion of the brake line negatively affects the brake caliper piston travel, and makes for mushy pedal feedback. UUC's Stainless Steel Brake lines are used to "performance tune" your braking system. Inner Teflon® line is covered with woven stainless steel braid that will not expand under pressure. The advantages include better brake pedal feedback and a firmer pedal, along with superior brake modulation. Results will be immediate. Technical features: fully compliant with DOT Standards (MVSS-1006) lines burst-tested to 6000psi (maximum tested pressure from a BMW braking system is 1200psi) Teflon® inner line covered with a woven layer of stainless steel and covered in an abrasion-resistant material (translucent blue plastic covering). plastic end pieces protect assembly, no exposed steel fibers to stick fingers.

This kit is a MUST HAVE for a complete brake job on your X-drive e9X! From Cameron B. of Bristol, Rhode Island on 5/12/2021.
Shopped around before initially finding UUC, and I liked that they were the only company I could find selling a 6-line kit for X-drive e9X. Most places I saw only had 4-line kits for X-drive and were more expensive too. Installed on my 2013 e92 328xi when I did new calipers, rotors, and pads. Honestly can't tell if they really made a difference over rubber lines or not because my pads/ rotors were complete s*** before, but these are a MUST HAVE if you do a complete brake job or calipers because everything feels brand new and tight now. The quality of the lines are great (made in USA), and are the perfect lengths/ fitment. Have driven for 5 months/ 8,000 miles now with no problems. Mid lines were a pain to do because of where BMW put them since you're supposed to drop the rear subframe, but they can be done without doing that if you can work in small spaces and have patience. Tips if you don't want to drop subframe: Days before you start the job, jack up the car and remove the driver side rear wheel and pre-soak mid line fittings with a penetrating oil (I used PB Blaster). Repeat as often as you desire, it will help the more often you soak it. When it is time to remove, use heat on the fittings (I used a mapp torch) and an 11mm flare wrench to break the line from the nut. I then bought a cheap STUBBY (***important***) 11mm 12 point wrench and cut a small slot in the box end so I could fit it over the brake lines, which made screwing the fittings off and back on much less painless and a lot quicker. Also, (this is self explanatory when you start doing the job) you have to remove the line closer to the driver side first, then remove the line closer to the passenger side. Fit up the new stainless line for the passenger side (make sure to twist the lines AS LITTLE as possible, this is important for ANY brake hoses and will make hoses last much longer over time) and re-install, and then install driver side. This process should all be the same for all 325/328/335/M3 if I'm not mistaken
