RK5 Shift Knob

I was worried about the weight of the knob and the shape. Boy was i wrong, it floats into gears perfectly but you can also work it if you want to race around. The weight is perfect and it fits my hand very well. 10/10

It's all about the look and feel. Wonderfully machined; heavy, solid, worth the money...so much better than OEM...just wear gloves in the cold Wisconsin winter. Short-shifter is great also. Love the combo.

RK5 gets compliments

I received this as a gift from my wife, as I always thought it would look awesome for my mtech color e30 interior. The looks are great, and the weight of the shift knob makes it seem I have a short shift kit. I always get complemented by fellow BMW and non-BMW owners. Worth every penny.

Fantastic Knob

I purchased the RK5 shift knob with the blue inlay. I love it. The weight of the knob is unbelievable, nice and heavy and made a big difference in the shift throw. One thing I wasn't prepared for was how hot it gets in the summer when you leave your car parked for a while, (better have those driving gloves on) but cooled right down once it gets a little air. The only thing I miss in this knob vs. the OEM is it is not illuminated. Thought about drilling it out myself, but to expensive if I mess it up. I love this knob, the feel is great - Buy It.

Heavy, solid feeling shifter

I had this knob mounted on my UUC short shifter in my CTS-V Cadillac. Feels great. Best of all, it is HEAVY, offsetting the extra effort required of the short shifter. Everything is A+ except a couple of things.
1. the shift pattern is wrong. I know this is the correct pattern for 6-speed BMW's, but not for the Caddy.
2. It doesn't fit perfectly into the leather boot. Minor mis-alignment, but it doesn't look 100% perfect. B+ fit.

But overall this is an awesome, heavy, expensive feeling knob to cap off an amazing shifter. If you own a CTS-V, you MUST get the UUC shifter. The difference is huge. Shifting is a pleasure.
