Engine Mount - Racing version
This part is intended for race/track cars and combination street/track cars. Some additional vibration may be experienced.
It is recommended to pair these with any of our performance Transmission Mount sets, sold separately.
To meet the demanding needs of racers, the new urethane engine mount features a hybrid design sharing features of standard rubber mounts and solid metal racing mounts:
* High-durometer urethane bushings are stiff enough to provide nearly flex-free support, yet still absorb some amount of vibration.
* Virtually eliminates flex and bushing separation from powertrain rotational forces (especially with high-powered cars).
* Direct-fit design with correct anti-rotation nub ensures hassle-free installation on any 1992-2005 3-series, M3, Z3, Z4, and E9x M3.
* Stainless steel hardware.

QUALITY FROM TIP TO TOE

NHV is manageable even for a street car, recommend dropping subframe slightly..
A Better Polyurethane Mount
From M. Gibson of Flagstaff, Arizona on .
These motor mounts match their bolt through racing polyurethane transmission mounts and are a perfect compromise over an aluminum hard mount. While they are more expensive than other brands they are the only ones to match the factory look and it does make a difference in how well they work. Totally worth the extra expense and weight in my mind.
E46 Non-M Race Motor Mounts
From Anonymous of Pensacola, Florida on .
The mounts are excellent quality at a very competitive price. They do appear to transmit quite noticeable vibration into the cabin between 2000 and 4500 RPM. Recommend highly for track use but would be annoying on a daily driver.
Great little biscuits...
From z4-villa of Woodside, New York on .
Great Piece of equipment, at first when newly installed they are rather rigid but then after a couple of hundred miles the extra vibrations mellows out to a firm yet manageable ride. Considering I daily drive in my Z4 M in pot-holed areas...This should work anywhere
Great for Street as well as Track
From tokbandit of Norman, Oklahoma on .
I was kinda worried about these being too harsh for street but to my surprise they are so much better than my stock mounts with 178,600 miles. I followed the instructions and did not over tighten them. I put like 35lbs torque on them and it was perfect. Most people over taken them causing preload and making extreme NVH. I have no vibrations over normal stock, no more harsh than stock mounts, and if anything there is maybe a little more road noise but stock radio covers that up for daily driving or if you have an aftermarket exhaust you would probably not even hear that. I personally feel that these mounts with the UUC red street/track tranny mounts provide a greater feeling of driving.
