This kit is designed to replace and strengthen the OE rear swaybar mounting brackets. Weakening, cracking, and eventual failure occurs as a result of mileage or hard use. Strengthening of this area is critical not only for safe operation in a street car, but also for optimum performance in a track or race car.

2 Rear swaybar reinforcement
4 M6 fender washer
4 M6x25mm bolt
4 M6x1.00 Nyloc nut

Recommended tools:

10mm socket
10mm wrench
Long 1/4" drill bit
center-punch tool
Primer and/or rust converter paint

Approximate installation time: 2 hours

These reinforcements replace the metal swaybar bushing brackets that bolt to a pair of tabs coming off the trunk floor. The tabs are welded into place but over time, and especially with larger swaybars, the tabs will flex, bend, and eventually break. These reinforcements will work to prevent the bending and flexing but will not repair broken tabs. Inspect the tabs before installing the kit. If cracks are found in the weld or on the tabs themselves have them re-welded to the rear frame. Works with all original equipment bars or any aftermarket bars that use bushings that fit into the original brackets.
