Sparta Evolution DOT4 brake fluid, P518 or R622

Sparta Evolution introduces two products into a new category of their lineup, the P518 and the R622 DOT4 brake fluids. The Sparta Evolution brake fluid is an excellent addition to the factory brake system or to any high performance brake kit.

Sometimes overlooked, the brake fluid is one of the most important elements of a vehicle’s braking system. It’s the blood that runs through a brake system, translating the inputs of the brake pedal to the movement of the pistons. It also acts as a lubricant, keeping the pistons freely-moving. In addition, it is vital to change brake fluid regularly as the fluid deteriorates over time by absorbing moisture. Moisture that is caught in the brake fluid effectively reduces the boiling point and increases the probability of vapor-lock occurring. Without proper brake fluid, the brake system simply cannot function.

Sparta Evolution DOT4 brake fluids are low viscosity and feature high boiling points, making them perfectly suited for many standard braking features such as ABS and brake controlled traction control. Moreover, each fluid is specially formulated to combat vapor-lock and brake fade.

The  P518 Performance Brake Fluid is their entry fluid, featuring a dry boiling point of 518°F (which is already at the high end of the scale among competitor's products). The P518 is perfectly suited for all types of driving, from daily commute to a casual day on the track.

Lesser brake fluids have a lower boiling point, which makes them unsuited for the demands of performance driving. By contrast, the R622 Racing Brake Fluid is a high performance fluid suited for high performance applications, especially those that call for a non-silicone based solution. Featuring a dry boiling point of 622°F, the R622 fluid is a perfect choice for high performance track cars as it resists the high temperatures generated by hard and constant braking.
