MoS2 Anti-Friction treatment for gears is intended to make your manual transmission shift more smoothly. Particularly effective with transmissions that crunch into gear or are particularly stiff to shift.
How does it work? It "replates" the toothflanks to restore transmission gear-sets to a new level of performance and actually "heals" toothflank damage (pitting and scoring) to reduce or eliminate gear whining and howling.
Suitable for manual transmissions, rear axles, transaxles, and steering boxes.
To use, drain your old transmission fluid. Put in one bottle of new transmission fluid, then add the entire 50g tube of MoS2 additive. Complete fill with second bottle of transmission fluid (most BMW transmissions will only use part of the second bottle).
Results will be apparent immediately and will even improve over the subsequent 500 miles of driving.
NOT SUITABLE FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS.
