Great upgrade!
Great customer service
From Anonymous of North Hollywood, California on .
Bought my car with this already installed. The previous owner did not install it properly, and it ended up cracking. I ordered another one, and it turned out they were sold out, the sales team was awesome and they ended up sending via next day air after they became available. I couldn't ask for better service. The Flywheel itself is awesome, and I would recommend it to anyone as it truly is a performance bargain. The motor feels a lot more free, and revs way smoother. There is also no noise as with other lightweight options.
Very impressed
From Zach of Surrey, British Columbia on .
I have to say, I am very impressed so far.
I did the installation my self in my garage over a 2 day span (had to wait for Transmission Seal).
I was shocked to find that my clutch pedal was lighter now with the e34 clutch than it was with my original stock clutch.
The Butt-Dyno says its great!
There is a small amount of gear rattle, but not at all noticeable if you aren't listening for it.
EXCELLENT!!
From Tyler Damron of Okeana, Ohio on .
OK, so i have a 96' 328is, and have it making a little bit more than stock power and it gets daily driven with light track use, i had my trusted mechanic put the kit on and he normally does not put on parts customers bring in, but i had him look at it after i already had the clutch and flywheel and he said "it should work." so he put it on, its been a couple weeks now but i also put on the recommended 325i slave cylinder, and i absolutely love it, i actually didnt have any shuddering issues as some have reported, from day one it has been smooth strong engagement and under more liberal acceleration the engagement is fantastic. I would recommend this kit to anyone wanting to upgrade and even just replace their current worn out clutch and flywheel, as long as you replace the lock valve and put the UUC Stainless steel lines. Which are also, amazing
clutch kit

I got the kit in a timely manor. The quality of the pieces look excellent. Glad I found you.
Great upgrade!
From N. Lee of Charleston, South Carolina on .
Ive been running the stage II kit with M5 clutch for most of the year now.
All I can say is this is a great upgrade.
Especially since it was cheaper than paying to have the stock clutch replaced by a mechanic.
Replaced just about everything in the clutch system, UUC stainless line, 325 slave, shift fork, pivot ball, spring, uuc trans mounts.
I also did all the trans seals and the shifter bushings that weren't already replaced with my RE short shifter.
Also I already had the UUC clutch stop and UUC exhaust so its a good setup.
My trans has over 200k now so Im running the fluid blend at 50/50, I had to sacrifice a little rattle stopping viscosity to help the aging syncros.
Over all Im only getting a slight rattle with the AC on and only when hot. But with my syncros as bad as they are I still have to go real easy on the shifts till its warmed up, so its a trade up. Definitely no complaints.
Best E36 M3 Mod you can do!
From Austin S of Huntington Beach, California on .
I've had the UUC lightweight flywheel and M5 clutch kit in my car now for over 100k miles. It has performed flawlessly and still feels great. The quicker spool-up in the lower gears is amazing, feels like a 5-second to 60 car now.
I did have some gear rattle at idle, but switched to UUC's recommended trans oil mixture and that reduced the noise by about 75%.
There are virtually no downsides to this mod - worth every penny!
AWESOME KIT!!! MY M50 REVS SO MUCH FASTER!!

Best mod I've done on my e36 M
From Anonymous of Arlington, Virginia on .
I've had it for 1 year and still going strong like the 1st day. Incredible transformation and yes, it takes the car closer to a race car than anything else you can possibly do.
highly recommend it
Good Replacement for E34 525i 5spd
From Derick Schaefer of Dallas, Texas on .
I needed to replace the clutch on my '95 525i 5spd and I wanted a performance clutch since I drive the car hard. My biggest problem was getting a hold of a complete sport clutch kit that wasn't 30 days worth of waiting on back order pieces to arrive. A second problem was sleeping at night knowing that 39lb fly wheel would remain on the car after the replacement.
My Stage II kit arrived at the mechanic in 3 days. After a straight forward install, I was experiencing a crisper clutch, no gear rattle, and a much quicker 1st/2nd gear experience on a heavy car with an moderately powered engine.
It's a great feeling to nail that car off the line now with a real clutch on the car and that OEM flywheel siting in a box in the garage! One of these days that engine will get pulled and we'll doctor it up to really enjoy my Stage II flywheel kit.
(p.s. make sure you get a 325 slave cylinder. Ask UUC for details)
Incredible Transformation
From Orlando of Alpharetta, Georgia on .
What an incredible transformation this flyweel made to my 97 M3. The engine feels smoother and sounds like it came off the race track. With the quicker response it makes the car feel lighter. Acceleration is faster out of 1st and 2nd gear and the clutch engagment is much crisper. After approximatly 1100 miles the gear rattle is completly gone away. I also installed the cluth arm bushings, stainless steel clutch line, clutch stop and transmission mounts. The car is screaming for the short throw shifter. I am very impressed with the quality of all the products and would highly recomend this to anyone replacing a clutch.
Worth the $- drives like a race car
From Steve Shaw of Clinton, New Jersey on .
After having the lightweight flywheel and sprung hub clutch installed the car drives smoother than ever with insain pickup. If you are looking for a big improvment in accel and respondse this is the product. For all you people who are affraid of chattering, i have not heard a thing since it was installed. If you wanna blaze past the competition, this is what you need.
Wonderful Upgrade!
From Chris Matty of Hampton, Virginia on .
The Stage II flywheel and M5 clutch are one of the best upgrades I've made to my e36.
The quality of the flywheel was top-notch; it was so pretty I almost didn't want to install it.
Once installed, this thing transformed my car. Quicker acceleration in 1st and 2nd, and smoother acceleration through all the gears.
I'd also swear it changed my engine note at high revs. The engine wails now. Not quite Ferrari caliber, but closer than I expected of my car.
Stage 2 Flywheel and Sachs Power Clutch make a noticeable difference!
From Michael O'Leary of Park Ridge, New Jersey on .
I just recently had the Stage 2 flywheel and Sachs Power Clutch kit installed into my 1999 M Coupe. After getting out on the local country twisties, I was able to realy get a feel for the quicker acceleration of the car as the motor will spool up much quicker all through the rev range. I also have the underdrive pulleys on the car which provided a noticeable difference as well. If you have modified your car like I have with Dinan goodies and Schrick Intake, you will find yourself wanting to push the car more than the stock clutch can handle. I applaud UUC for their kit and will let you all know how the setup holds up after some driving schools and autocrosses that are coming up in the very near future.
